Respect! I was liking the Working Class Iconoclast because it is a cool name…! Now you’re changing it? Lol all the best! You gotta do what a chef’s gotta do!
Brian, what kind of band were you in? I was in a couple of punk bands that veered into crust punk in the late 90s, all while I was hustling at restaurants!
Nice! I was in 2 different bands as lead/rhythm guitar player. I guess the style could be considered rock with our own twist. We played original songs and gained a small following. I knew some crust punks for a while, they didn't smell good but they were authentically them and I appreciated that.
I didn't. I sing more now than I ever did then but only my family has to put up with me now. My wife is a classically trained singer with a gorgeous voice. I composed/arranged music and played the guitar primarily.
It's funny because the music I like to listen to, which is a fairly eclectic collection, isn't at all what comes out of me when I pick up an instrument. I do understand thinking musically like it's own language. Music and cooking were the only 2 things that made sense to me for a long time.

Thank you! It is a cool name and it came to me in a dream which is a whole other subject but it has to go for now. I appreciate you!
Thank you!
That’s a story I’m looking forward to reading one day. The name that came in a dream.
I'm looking forward to what is coming, Brian. Best of luck with it!

Ha! Same RE crust punks.
Did you sing, too?

I miss thinking in music, you know? Like, playing one way to make the note higher... it's like your fingers and brain make a really good team.

So cool! I'm getting there with writing, just a little flow state every day for a while.
