I have to admit, I've never seen the end of ET. I remember when we watched it as a family. I got so bored. There was snow on the ground despite it being October, so I went outside and made a snowman. Every so often, I think I should sit down and watch ET, but I have yet to do it.

It's been a minute since I've seen Honey I've Shrunk the Kids (the bit with the ant was a lot for me as a kid), but I gotta say, my favorite of that franchise was the sequel, Honey I Blew Up The Kid. That one was hilarious.

That ant scene was terrifying! I think Honey I blew up the Kid was just as good, both are top-notch films.

Great picks! I especially liked the callback to "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids." This movie was HUGE when it was in theaters and then on VHS! I think it has been sort of forgotten by time in a way.

Flight of the Navigator certainly influenced me growing up.

It’s interesting that I have only seen two of these five movies. Mainly E.T. and Honey I Shrunk the Kids.

Those were the days. When my children were in elementary school, their school occasionally had "movie night " on Friday. I remember taking them there to watch "Honey I Blew up the Kids". That was my first time to watch that movie. It was awesome.
